Tomas Sanchez was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on May 22nd, 1948. He completed studies at the San Alejandro Academy of Art and later went on to the Cubanacan school of art.
The artist is multitalented in painting, drawing, engraving, and design. He has had several personal exhibitions in Cuba, Spain, Greece, Austria, etc. Snchez has obtained the first prize Juan Miro at an international exposition in Barcelona, Spain, plus other major prizes in Cuba.
The artist lives and works in southern Florida.
